Promotional items are another great way to attract visitors to a tradeshow booth. They enhance the display and entice visitors to linger. While many visitors will only stop by to grab a free promotional gift, many others will stay to find out more information, increasing the chances of converting them from a visitor to a customer.
Promotional items equal a client list. Consider keeping higher-end promotional products for those who show genuine interest. For larger, more expensive promotional items, have a drawing and announce a winner at the end of the tradeshow event, or perhaps even an hourly winner, depending on the size and expense of the promotional event.
When giving away an expensive gift or money, visitors are more willing to drop a business card or fill out a contact cart in a box for a drawing and you can use it as a client list for sales.
